Trilogical’s Innovation Partnership Program (IPP) 2026 is now fully subscribed, with the participating cohort – including rail operators, logistics companies, and mining companies – finalized following strong market interest.
A select group of strategic partners across key markets, including the US, India, Brazil, Middle East and Europe, has joined the program, reflecting broad international engagement in Trilogical’s next phase of rail telematics innovation.
IPP remains Trilogical’s flagship collaboration framework, designed to work with a limited number of qualified participants to validate emerging rail telematics technologies under real operational conditions. It gives participants early access to emerging capabilities while enabling them to provide structured, real-world feedback that directly supports product development.
With enrolment complete, IPP 2026 now moves into the pilot stage.
This year’s pilot activities will focus on the testing and further advancement of several proprietary technologies, supporting the optimization of railcar operations:
- Railcar load status monitoring with integrated weight estimation and balancing monitoring
- Wheel & bearing monitoring, including an AI-based wheel flat detection algorithm
- Impact monitoring and analytics correlated with real-time load status
- Track-level visibility for precise railcar location in yards and terminals
- Intra-train connectivity via proprietary mesh network for real-time locomotive and railcar health monitoring, train integrity and End-of-Train alerts without cellular dependency
These pilot projects are intended to validate performance in operational environments and generate high-quality input for the continued refinement of Trilogical’s telematics solutions.
Insights generated during the program will directly influence Trilogical’s product roadmap, supporting faster validation cycles and accelerating the transition from development to deployment, with stronger analytics and more precise condition-monitoring capabilities for rail operators and fleet owners.
IPP 2026 continues to position Trilogical at the forefront of rolling stock telematics innovation, combining global operational expertise with targeted technology validation in real-world environments through focused collaboration with strategic industry partners.
